What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that websites store on the user’s device. They may be technical (necessary for the site to work) or profiling and third-party cookies (for analytics or marketing), for which consent is required.

Cookies used by this site

This site carries no advertising and does not profile users for marketing purposes. It uses only two categories of cookie:

• Technical cookies — set by the hosting provider for the security and correct operation of the site. No consent required.
• Analytics cookies — set by Google Analytics 4 only if you accept them. They tell us how many people visit the site and which pages they read.

Analytics cookies: what they are and how they work

With your consent the site uses Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

These cookies are not set unless you accept them. On your first visit a bar appears with two equally prominent choices, Accept and Decline, with nothing pre-selected: until you choose, the Google script is not even downloaded. Dismissing the bar or continuing to browse does not count as consent.

You can change your mind at any time through the Analytics preferences link at the foot of every page.

IP addresses are processed in anonymised form. Data may be transferred to the United States: Google LLC adheres to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, on a subsidiary basis, the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission apply. Third-party services used on the pages

Two features of the site rely on external providers. In both cases data is sent only at the moment you fill in and submit the form: no tracking script is loaded and no advertising cookies are installed.

• Quotation request form — handled by Web3Forms. On submission, the provider may record the IP address for anti-spam purposes.
• Newsletter subscription — handled by Klaviyo. The email address and country are transmitted only at the moment of subscription.

Managing cookies from your browser

Besides the consent bar, you can manage or delete cookies from your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). Disabling technical cookies may impair some site functions.

If anything changes in future

Should further cookie-setting services be added — maps, social content, advertising tools — this page will be updated with the relevant cookie list, in line with the Italian Data Protection Authority’s Order of 10 June 2021 and the GDPR.
